A little sculptural, a lot of comfort. The PRALINE Lounge Chair is built from two forms: a deep, low seat and a rolled backrest set into it. Most of the chair’s character is in how the two meet.
The seat sits 380 mm off the floor and runs 650 mm deep. That puts you in a lounging posture, legs crossed or tucked up, rather than an upright one. With no arms, it takes whichever way you sit.
The upholstery is a short-pile chenille in caramel. It’s matte and slightly brushed, so the colour shifts with the light through the day. The back is finished as carefully as the front, which matters when a chair stands away from the wall.
